Beauty Blender Tips And Tricks
How To Use A Beauty Blender
If you have never used a beauty blender, than you are probably wondering what all the fuss is about. Let me tell you that when I first used one, I knew that I would never go back. This little miracle sponge is absolutely amazing for blending and smudging concealers, primers, foundations, bronzers and just about any powder you can think of.
These sponges do come in a few different sizes and textures, and here's why. The pink beauty blender one is designed for any complexion product like foundations and primers. Basically any creams. The key is to wet the sponge fully. This allows the sponge to be “full” so that the makeup product sits on top of the sponge rather than being absorbed. By doing this you will be using less product.
The black beauty blender sponge is designed for darker makeup product like self tanners. The smaller green beauty blender are perfect for smaller spots like around your nose and inner eye area. I use this one for lightening up the inner corners of my eyes with highlighter or concealer.
I've recently discovered a new grey beauty blender. This sponge is designed for applying blush. The grey color helps to distinguish color undertones for the perfect blushing effect.
*Pro tip ....always wet the sponge before you use it. If you don't, you will be dragging your makeup across your face and will not get a smooth, even finish.
