   I realize that many of us are guilty of making a few makeup mistakes, but I had no idea that I was making so many of them myself. So many of them that we thought we would put together our top beauty blunders that you are probably making too. Check out these common makeup mistakes and see if you are guilty too.

1. Not cleaning your makeup brushes…

 Every time you use your brushes, you spread old makeup product, bacteria and dirt on to your face. Best practice is to clean your brushes after every use. 2. Sleeping in your makeup…

 If you decide to skip this evening routine, you are exposing your skin to additional germs and bacteria, resulting in clogged pores. Your skin needs a chance to breathe, and removing your makeup before bed gives it that chance.

4. Not using primer on your eyelids…

7. Curling your lashes with mascara on…

When you curl your eyelashes, do it before applying mascara. The curler can stick to the mascara and end up pulling lashes out….ouch!

8. Matching your foundation to the back of your hand or face…

 The skin on your face and hands isn’t the same color as the rest of your body due to sun exposure. If you match your foundation to your cheek, you might end up with a shade that doesn’t match your neck rest of your body and won’t look natural.

 In general, orange is used to correct very deep-blue dark circles, green cancels redness like rosacea and broken capillaries, and lavender is used for very yellow tones

12. Applying concealer in a moon shape under eye…

 Instead apply in a triangle shape to brighten the entire under eye area.

13. Use loose powder on oily skin…

 Too much powder can make your makeup look cakey.

14. Apply concealer before foundation….

You’ll just end up removing it as you apply your base.

15. Applying loose powder before you apply your foundation or concealer…

It works best to apply powder after your other beauty products such as your foundation and concealer. It sets your makeup for the day.
